Officers stopped the white Ford Focus on Normanton Road on Tuesday.

The Derbyshire traffic Unit released details of the incident on Twitter which attracted dozens of comments and hundreds of likes.

The officers said they stopped the driver precisely 30 minutes after he failed his driving test as “he decided he was good enough to drive anyway”.
